POI Business Interiors is a privately held company that has been providing office interiors products and services to some of Canada's most respected organizations since 1953.

POI was founded by Maxwell Scholl on the quality philosophy: "Exceed customer expectations." Since 1953 the founding family has forged POI's history by working diligently to cultivate a company culture of capable, responsible customer care. Because of our singular focus on serving the customer, POI is recognized as a service leader by many of North America's best companies.

POI's purpose "helping customers enhance their business performance by providing the best workplace solutions" can be traced back to 1957 when we dramatically altered the way furniture was sold and serviced. POI's first innovation was providing customers with planning and specification services to improve their office environment.

POI also initiated in 1968, design of facilities using intelligent programming, space planning and imaginative furniture applications. POI has continued to expand and evolve its product and service capabilities ever since.

The result: POI has grown to become Canada's largest supplier of office interiors products and facilities services and was recently named one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies.
