Effective July 14, 2004, POI has been awarded the exclusive distribution rights to the Kwalu line of products featuring Duraframe construction.

Kwalu is a manufacturer offering a wide range of seating, tables, casegoods and wall protection systems specifically designed for use in high maintenance / high traffic environments like healthcare, educational and hospitality facilities.

Kwalu is based in South Carolina and was founded in 1984. They have pioneered the use of high-impact resistant polymers to produce wood-grained furniture that is aesthetically pleasing and incredibly durable.

The Duraframe construction ensures that the products are virtually indestructible, scuff-resistant, Class 'A' and ‘B’ fire-rated, anti-bacterial and waterproof. Backed by the industry's only 10-year warranty on construction and finish, the surface is renewable and scuffs are easily repaired in seconds using steel wool. Kwalu offers hundreds of designs, full custom capabilities, and dozens of finish options. The products are manufactured with recycled material; the furniture can also be fully recycled.

POI will act as Kwalu's Canadian agent for these products. This is a tremendous opportunity for POI to expand our presence in the Canadian market.
