Deloitte & Touche POI Business Interiors has long been the business provider of choice for Deloitte & Touche, one of the top professional services firms in the world that offer a full range of accounting, auditing, tax, management consulting, and specialized financial and business advisory services. The interior design firm of Kelly McTernan Lavoie was retained to completely refurbish Deloitte & Touche’s North York location with a main objective of attracting and retaining the best personnel – a fixed budget, the ability to allow for future growth within the same square footage and the intent to reuse their existing furnishings were the key criteria that guided the project. POI Business Interiors met the challenge of containing costs without compromising the design intent. In addition, flexibility enhancements within the individual workareas and the introduction of hotelling were achieved by reusing all existing Montage frames with new skins, by adding desk height access for power and communications and by introducing free standing Answer worksurface components. The solutions that POI developed for this successful project have been incorporated into a national program for over 44 locations. |
