POI Business Interiors Expands into Winnipeg, Manitoba!
POI Business Interiors is thrilled to announce their expansion into the Winnipeg and greater Manitoba market. POI was founded by Maxwell Scholl in 1958 as one of the original Steelcase dealers in Canada. They have been a Steelcase partner and a family run business for more than 65 years.
This will be POI’s first expansion since they opened in Windsor, Ontario in 2015. “While we have had numerous opportunities to expand since 2015, we have been looking for a market that fits with our business structure and one where we could truly bring value. In Manitoba, we can bring our expertise in the Corporate, Education, Healthcare, and Government markets to a diverse region of the country. Our mission is to create spaces people want to go to, and that involves much more than furniture. We are committed to being the leading integrator of the built environment in Canada. This involves all of our business units including Furniture, Modular Interior Construction, AV Technology, Move Services, Flooring, and Window Coverings. We are looking forward to bringing this scale to our first market outside of Ontario.” said Jonas Scholl, CEO of POI.
