Take a fresh approach to group spaces to facilitate connections, creating them as destinations that are intimate, intuitive, appealing and inviting. Comfortable lounge seating provides the perfect spot for a quick chat. Various meetings can occur within the same footprint for greater efficiency

Welcome / Conversation Focused Collaboration

DESIGN INTENT
Create a dynamic “we” space that supports different types of collaboration, including information sharing, evaluation and connected work. It should support both physical and virtual collaboration to help local and distributed teams stay connected, with optional videoconferencing providing seamless connectivity between the “local” team and teams “distributed” around the world.

DESIGN INTENT
Expressed hierarchy for a resident worker with a progressive solution designed to solve for optimization of real estate layering and simple technology connection. Blend open and closed storage for a mixture of personal and work based storage. Provide plentiful slim upper surfaces for arraying and piling of smaller paper based elements.

COLLABORATION AND MEDIA CONFERENCING

DESIGN INTENT
Collaboration is a dynamic process that happens throughout a worker’s busy day. This media:scape setting allows people to simply walk up, connect their laptops and start sharing information. It becomes a collaborative destination where meetings are inclusive, everyone participates and people build on each other’s ideas in real time. Information is displayed for everyone to see, share and learn. The table shape keeps all participants visually connected to displayed content, as well as each other.

This setting illustrates a bench designed for resident workers. These owned spaces maintain visual connectivity while screens and storage elements create territorial privacy enabling the ability to focus. Simple access to technology is maintained using the desk and storage connect zones for technology and personal devices.

HEALTHCARE WAITING AREA (REGARD)

DESIGN INTENT
In today’s workplace, work isn’t happening in one place. It extends beyond the desk to every available space. Today’s workers shift between concentrated work, collaboration and socialization throughout their day. The Regard furniture system provides a range of space to support many modes of work in today’s workplace—accommodating short and long-term stays, individual and group work, and a variety of work tools.

DESIGN INTENT
Create a simple shared free address destination that allows the user to quickly and easily unpack and work. Height adjustable work surfaces and in-surface access to power allow for mobile technology and devices. Personal caddies and open storage can be utilized in these spaces to increase efficiency. This area is easily   accessible and allows the user to see and be seen.

With this space, we’ve tried to provide an inviting destination that mimics a residential feel and gathering habits of people. Think of the kitchen island reinterpreted for the workplace. Access to power, cable management and worktools are accessible and intuitively placed.
