With new ownership and a large rebranding effort, the ScotiaClub was launched as an events lounge for private members and ticket holders for two of Toronto’s largest sports teams. With clear sightlines and stunning views to the ice and court, the space provides an array of seating styles. MLSE and Scotiabank initiated the project and POI gave an assist by providing the furniture.

It was GAME ON as POI was tasked with project managing the furniture and ensuring that all seating requirements reflected the design and branding prescribed. With more than a year in the planning, the ScotiaClub had to be ready for opening night so that corporate owners could use the refreshed facility.

POI solutions included custom tables with metal edges, some with stone and others with wood tops. Seating included both stool height and chair height selections, while leather chairs added a more prominent feel. Bases, chairs and stools were shipped from Italy, and some products were customized locally.

POI and its partners held multiple meetings as there was a great deal of customization required to achieve very tight lead times. Fortunately, when the puck dropped, members and fans were given a spectacle to watch from the comfort of the ScotiaClub and its exclusive Loge Suites.Mission accomplished!
