Stryker is a trailblazer with a history of applied ingenuity, inventing and producing products and services in Orthopaedics, Medical and Surgical, and Neurotechnology and Spine. POI was selected amongst a group of contenders based on its proposed suite of products as well as the strength of its project team during the interview process.
The POI solution for the new Stryker building in Waterdown reflected the company’s forward-thinking, progressive, and innovative character. Stryker prioritized end-user well-being and all staff were provided ergonomic chairs and height adjustable desks. Attracting and retaining talent was also very important so POI applied low panel workstations, and many interspersed ancillary settings to support collaboration and promote cultural cohesion. Stryker was also intent on integrating their products and services into their space through art murals and hanging features, and POI was strategic in sourcing appropriate interior selections from an array of suppliers to complement the unique design.
POI successfully partnered with the interior designer and the client to ensure that the space showcased modernity and promoted productivity while also reflecting their unique brand.
